A School Concert
Last Friday, our school had a concert. I played the violin in the school orchestra, and I was nervous but excited. We practiced for two months before the concert. On the day of the concert, the auditorium was full of parents and students. I sat with the other violinists, my hands shaking a little. When the conductor lifted his baton, I took a deep breath and started playing. We played three songs: a classical piece, a folk song, and a popular movie theme. The audience clapped loudly after each song. When we finished playing the last song, everyone stood up and cheered. I felt so proud. After the concert, my parents hugged me and said I did a great job. The concert was a great experience. It taught me that practice makes perfect and that performing in front of people can be fun.
