My Dream Job
When I grow up, I want to be a veterinarian—a doctor for animals. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals, and the idea of helping them feel better makes my heart happy. I remember when my cat, Luna, got sick last year; the vet was so kind and patient, and she made Luna feel better in no time. That day, I thought, “I want to be that person for other animals.” Being a vet would mean working with all kinds of animals—from tiny hamsters to big dogs, and maybe even farm animals or exotic pets. I know it won’t be easy: I’ll have to study hard in school, learn about animal biology, and practice taking care of different animals. But even the hard parts sound worth it. The best part of the job would be seeing an animal go from being sick or scared to healthy and happy, and knowing I helped make that happen. It’s not just a job to me—it’s a way to make the world better for our furry, feathered, and scaly friends.
